The mission of the Breast Cancer Surgery Center of MD is "to provide the same scope and quality of surgical care that can be found in any academic institution in the United States." Our vision is to "create the future of breast cancer surgery to improve women's lives." We treat every patient with compassion and dignity. We keep up-to-date on modern diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. Our patients become our lifelong commitment.

The Breast Cancer Surgery Center of MD has treated and/or follows over 2000 female (and male) patients who have either benign breast disease, cancer, or are at elevated risk of developing cancer. Our patients come to us from all over Maryland, and the surrounding states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Virginia, and West Virginia. Our patients have traveled from as far as Maine, Massachusetts, Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida. We have patients who have been followed for more than 20 years. Through word-of-mouth, our reputation for excellence is known both locally and at a distance.

      Our Center was dedicated to the principles of privacy and accountability and followed Federal HIPAA guidelines before they were even promulgated! We comply with all aspects of the HIPAA Privacy Act and assure you total confidentiality in your dealings with us. Our Center accepts any person whom you designate to be a family member and accepts all couples without regard to marital status or sexual orientation.

      The Breast Cancer Surgery Center of MD is located in Forest Hill, Maryland, just north of the Harford County seat of Bel Air, Maryland. We are easily accessible form Interstate 95 via MD Route 24. Drive NW on Route 24 from Exit 74 for 7.2 miles to our Center on the right. Adequate free parking is available. We are in close proximity to the medical oncologists and radiation oncologists who serve our patient's needs. Dr. Walker has privileges at three Hospitals and two Ambulatory Surgery Facilities to accommodate all of our patient's desires and insurance requirements.
