Breast Center News:1-30-09The Breast Cancer Surgery Center has been the "first" to insert two of the newest devices for breast irradiation. They are called the "Contura" and "SAVI" devices. They enable the radiation oncologist to treat a volume that is NOT a sphere, but rather shaped the same as the patient's actual breast. |
What's New at the BCSC!01-31-09The BCSC is one of only three sites in Maryland to offer the new HALO breast Pap test! This test has been approved by the FDA for all women aged 25 - 55. When performed in addition to a woman's mammogram, over 99% of cancers are found at a curable stage. Call our Center at 410-836-0909 for details. |
